The pump in the truck engine is used to pressurize the coolant and keep it circulating through the cooling system.  Centrifugal pumps are widely used in truck engines.  Its working principle is: when the engine is running, the crankshaft through the belt to drive water pump impeller rotation, water pump coolant is driven by the impeller rotation, and under the action of centrifugal force is thrown to the edge of the water pump housing, while producing a certain pressure, and then out of the outlet pipe.  In the center of the impeller due to the coolant is thrown out and the pressure drop, the coolant in the radiator in the pump inlet and impeller center under the effect of pressure difference through the inlet pipe into the impeller center.  The coolant then circulates through the engine, taking excess engine heat away and radiating it into the surrounding air.
